At Brightseed Academy, we believe every Florida family deserves access to quality umbrella school support, regardless of budget or how much guidance they need. Our tiers are designed so you can start where you are and grow as your needs do. Every tier includes full DOE-compliant legal enrollment. The difference between tiers is the level of support, guidance, and coaching we provide alongside it.

Not sure which tier is right for you? Scroll down to our "Which Plan Is Right for My Family?" guide or book a free 15-minute Q&A call and we'll help you decide.

CORE — $129 per student (family cap $299)

Best for: Experienced homeschool families who know their curriculum and routine and primarily need their legal bases covered with reliable, fast documentation.

What Core means in plain language: When you enroll in Core, your child becomes an officially enrolled student at Brightseed Academy of Learning, a Florida DOE-registered non-campus private school. This satisfies Florida's compulsory attendance law without you registering with your school district. You handle the teaching. We handle the paperwork.

What's included:

Official enrollment in Brightseed Academy as a Florida DOE-compliant non-campus private school student. Enrollment and withdrawal letters delivered by next business day. Same-day rush letter available if requested before 3:00 PM ET. Annual attendance summary stored in your family record. Attendance log template, progress note templates, and transcript shell template with instructions so you can build and maintain your own transcript. Email support with responses within 1–2 business days. Records shared only with legal guardians or with written permission.

Important clarifications so there are no surprises:

Immunization records and physical forms are not required. Brightseed is a non-campus private school and does not require these for enrollment. If your child participates in outside programs such as sports leagues or dual enrollment, those programs may have their own requirements, check with them directly. The transcript shell included in Core is a professional template you complete yourself. It is not a built or reviewed transcript. Full transcript builds and reviews are available as a paid add-on for any tier or are included in higher tiers.

This is the right tier if: You have been homeschooling for at least one year, you already have a curriculum you are happy with, and you primarily need fast official letters and legal documentation without scheduled coaching or check-ins.

This is not the right tier if: You are brand new to homeschooling, you are transitioning your child out of public school for the first time, your child has learning differences that require additional guidance, or you want someone to check in and make sure you are on track throughout the year. In those cases, Standard or higher will serve you better.

What's included (everything in Core, plus):

30-minute onboarding call at the start of your enrollment year. We cover your curriculum plan, how to organize your records, what Florida requires, and answer any questions before you get started. Two progress check-ins during the year, one mid-year and one in spring, each 20 minutes. We review how your year is going, check that your records are on track, and flag anything that needs attention before year-end. Portfolio guidance including examples of what good records look like and a quick review of 5–10 of your work samples so you know you are keeping the right things. Transcript readiness for middle and high school students, we review your course naming, credit structure, and GPA approach to make sure your transcript will hold up for college applications and scholarship programs. Priority email support with responses within 24–48 hours.

Turnaround times: Enrollment and withdrawal letters by next business day, same-day rush available before 3:00 PM ET. Portfolio feedback within 5 business days. Transcript readiness review within 5 business days.

This is the right tier if: You are homeschooling for the first time. You are pulling your child out of public school and need help understanding what changes. You want peace of mind that someone is checking your records are correct. Your child has mild learning differences and you want light guidance on staying organized.

This is not the right tier if: Your child has significant learning differences such as ADHD, autism, or sensory processing differences and you need behavioral guidance and individualized support. In that case, our Premier or Neurodiversity+ plans are designed for you.

Best for: Families who are new to homeschooling, transitioning from public school, or want structured check-ins and guidance to make sure they are doing everything correctly.

What Standard means in plain language: Standard gives you everything in Core plus a real human support structure. You start with a dedicated onboarding call so you set up correctly from day one, you have two scheduled check-ins during the year so you never feel alone, and we actively guide you through portfolio organization and transcript readiness so your records are solid.

STANDARD — $279 per student (family cap $549)

Best for: Families who want high-touch, year-round support including quarterly coaching, verification documentation, and priority access and who want to be first in line when our virtual clubs and AI study tools launch.

What Premier means in plain language: Premier is our most comprehensive current enrollment tier. You get everything in Standard plus quarterly coaching sessions to keep your homeschool on track all year, a formal verification packet each semester for families who need official documentation beyond the standard enrollment letter, and priority support so your questions are answered within 24 hours.

PREMIER — $479 per student (family cap $899)

What's included (everything in Standard, plus):

Four quarterly coaching sessions per year, approximately 30 minutes each. Each session reviews your progress against your goals, identifies what is working and what needs adjustment, and sets targets for the next quarter. Think of this as having a homeschool advisor check in with you four times a year. Verification packet once per semester, a formal package including enrollment proof, attendance documentation, and a custom letter. This is particularly useful for families applying to outside programs, managing FES-EO scholarship documentation, or needing official verification for any purpose. Turnaround on verification packets is 2 business days. Priority & email support with responses within 24 hours.

Coming soon for all current Premier members at no additional cost: AI-powered reading and writing study helpers for your students and a Virtual Club Pass each semester giving your child access to our small-group live virtual clubs. These features are in development and will be added automatically to all active Premier enrollments when they launch. Enrolling now locks in your Premier rate and guarantees you receive these features the moment they become available.

This is the right tier if: You want someone actively coaching you throughout the entire year rather than just at enrollment. You need formal verification documentation for outside programs or scholarship management. You want to be positioned to receive our upcoming virtual learning features the moment they launch.

What's included:

Monthly 30-minute strategy session conducted via Zoom video call or phone call, whichever you prefer. Sessions are parent-focused and education-only. Students may be present but it is not required. Sessions focus on practical, actionable strategies for structuring your homeschool day, managing behavior and motivation challenges, adapting curriculum to your child's learning style, and addressing whatever is coming up for your family that month. Individualized Supports Plan created at enrollment and updated quarterly or as needed. This is a written document specific to your child outlining recommended strategies, environmental accommodations, schedule structures, and learning approaches based on their profile. Brief observation of work samples, you share short video clips or scans of your child's work and we provide concrete, specific feedback and tips. Collaboration notes stored in your family record so there is always a documented history of what strategies have been tried and what is working. 20% sibling discount for each additional Neurodiversity+ student in the same family, applied to both annual and monthly pricing.

Critical clarification — please read before enrolling:

Neurodiversity+ provides educational strategy coaching and behavioral guidance for learning environments. It is not clinical ABA therapy, does not constitute a therapeutic relationship, does not replace or supplement any clinical services your child currently receives, and does not produce clinical documentation such as behavior intervention plans or functional behavior assessments. If your child requires clinical ABA services, we encourage you to work with a licensed provider for those needs. Neurodiversity+ is designed to complement, not replace, any clinical support your family has in place.

Pairing recommendation: Neurodiversity+ does not include the quarterly coaching and verification features of Premier. Families who want both BCBA-informed monthly coaching AND quarterly goal-setting, verification packets, and virtual club access can enroll in both Neurodiversity+ and Premier. Contact us to discuss the right combination for your family.

This is the right tier if: Your child has a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, dyslexia, or twice-exceptionality. You feel like you are guessing at what approach will work for your child and you want expert guidance. You have felt dismissed or unsupported by traditional educational systems and want someone who genuinely understands how your child's brain works.

Best for: Families of children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing differences, anxiety, dyslexia, twice-exceptionality, or any learning difference who want monthly BCBA-informed coaching and an individualized support plan built around their child's specific learning profile.

What Neurodiversity+ means in plain language: This is the only umbrella school plan in Florida built specifically around neurodivergent learners and delivered by a founder with nearly 10 years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Every month you have a dedicated strategy session focused entirely on how to make homeschooling actually work for your child's brain. You also receive a written individualized supports plan, a real document with specific strategies, accommodations, and approaches customized to your child, updated quarterly or whenever your child's needs change.

NEURODIVERSITY+ — $799/year or $89/month

PEP Concierge — FES-UA Scholarship Support

Florida's Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) provides funding for families of children with qualifying disabilities or special needs to use toward educational expenses including umbrella school enrollment, curriculum, therapies, tutoring, and more. Brightseed's PEP Concierge service helps you navigate the scholarship process with confidence, from initial setup to staying audit-ready all year long.

Important note: Brightseed's PEP Concierge is a guidance and administrative support service. All funding approvals, eligibility determinations, and reimbursement decisions are made exclusively by your Scholarship Funding Organization (SFO). Brightseed does not control, guarantee, or influence SFO decisions.

STARTER — $99 (one-time fee)

Best for: Families who are brand new to FES-EO and need a clear, structured starting point before they begin spending scholarship funds.

What Starter means in plain language: Most families receive their FES-UA approval and immediately feel overwhelmed, they don't know what they can spend money on, how to organize receipts, or what deadlines matter. The Starter package gives you a complete orientation so you begin your scholarship year organized and confident instead of confused.

What's included:

A 30 to 45 minute orientation session conducted via Zoom or phone call covering the basics of your SFO parent portal, how to navigate it, which expense categories are typically eligible, and how the reimbursement process works. Setup of a personalized Spending Plan spreadsheet so you can map out how to allocate your scholarship funds across the school year before you spend a dollar. Setup of a receipts folder system with clear instructions for how to save, name, and organize your receipts so they are audit-ready from day one. A quarterly checklist of key deadlines and reminders so you never miss a submission window.

Turnaround times: Your orientation session will be scheduled within 7 calendar days of purchase. All digital resources and links are delivered within 1 business day of purchase.

What Starter does not include: Ongoing support, email check-ins, reimbursement submission help, or quarterly reviews. Those are included in Plus and White-Glove.

PLUS — $249/year

Best for: Families actively using FES-UA funds throughout the school year who want ongoing guidance, accountability, and someone to answer eligibility questions as they come up.

What Plus means in plain language: Managing an FES-UA scholarship is not a one-time task, it requires ongoing organization, timely submissions, and knowing whether each purchase you want to make is actually eligible before you spend the money. Plus gives you a support system for the entire school year so you never feel like you are navigating it alone.

What's included (everything in Starter, plus):

Quarterly spending plan review, four times per year we review your scholarship budget, check that your submissions are on track, and help you plan your remaining funds for the next quarter. Review notes are delivered within 2 business days of each session. Eligibility check emails whenever you are unsure whether a specific purchase is covered by FES-UA, email us and we will review it against current SFO guidelines and respond within 1 business day. Nudge reminders for missing receipts or upcoming deadlines so nothing falls through the cracks.

Important clarification: Eligibility guidance is based on current SFO handbook rules at the time of your question. Rules can change and final eligibility decisions are always made by your SFO. Our guidance is informational and does not guarantee reimbursement approval.

What Plus does not include: Formatting or submitting reimbursement packets on your behalf. That service is included in White-Glove.

WHITE-GLOVE — $499/year + $75 per additional student

Best for: Families who want full-service scholarship management — we handle the reimbursement paperwork so you never have to worry about formatting, submitting, or tracking approvals yourself.

What White-Glove means in plain language: White-Glove is our most hands-on PEP Concierge level. You send us your receipts and documentation, and we do the rest. We format your reimbursement packets into audit-ready PDFs, submit them on your behalf, and track every submission through the approval process so you always know exactly where things stand.

What's included (everything in Plus, plus):

Full reimbursement packet preparation — we take your receipts, invoices, and documentation and format them into properly organized, audit-ready PDF packets ready for submission. Reimbursement submission on your behalf within 2 business days of receiving your complete materials. Status tracking for every submission throughout the approval process — we monitor and update you at each stage: Submitted, In Review, Approved, or Paid. Quarterly ledger snapshot — a running record of everything submitted, approved, and paid so your financial records are always current and organized. Priority response for urgent questions or issues that arise mid-year.

Turnaround times: Reimbursement packets are formatted and submitted within 2 business days of receiving all required materials from you. If materials are incomplete we will notify you within 1 business day of what is still needed.

Additional students: Each additional student in the same family enrolled in White-Glove is $75 per year.

Important clarification: White-Glove requires you to provide complete, accurate receipts and documentation. We cannot submit incomplete packets and we are not responsible for SFO decisions on submitted reimbursements. We follow current SFO handbook rules at the time of submission. All final approvals are made exclusively by your SFO.

PEP Concierge FAQs

Do I need to be enrolled in a Brightseed umbrella plan to use PEP Concierge?

Yes. PEP Concierge is available to Brightseed enrolled families only. If you are not yet enrolled in an umbrella plan, you will need to select a tier before adding PEP Concierge services.

Can I use FES-EO funds to pay for Brightseed's umbrella enrollment fees? Umbrella school enrollment fees may be an eligible FES-UA expense depending on your SFO's current guidelines. We recommend confirming with your SFO before submitting. Our PEP Concierge team can help you understand how to categorize and submit this expense.

Can I use FES-EO funds to pay for PEP Concierge itself?

PEP Concierge is an administrative support service. Whether it qualifies as a reimbursable FES-UA expense depends on your SFO's current guidelines for educational consulting or support services. We recommend confirming eligibility with your SFO directly before submitting PEP Concierge fees for reimbursement.

What if my child is not yet approved for FES-UA?

The Starter package is an excellent option for families who are in the application process and want to get organized before their approval comes through. For families still navigating the application itself, contact us and we can point you toward the right resources.

Can I combine PEP Concierge with Neurodiversity+?

Yes and we highly recommend it for FES-UA families with neurodivergent children. Neurodiversity+ provides the educational strategy coaching and individualized supports plan. PEP Concierge helps you use your scholarship funds to pay for educational expenses related to your child's needs. They serve completely different purposes and work well together.

Can I upgrade from Starter to Plus or White-Glove during the year?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time. We will credit your Starter fee toward the cost of Plus or White-Glove if you upgrade within 60 days of your Starter purchase.

What counts as "complete materials" for White-Glove submission? Complete materials means all receipts, invoices, or proof of payment for expenses you want to submit, with the vendor name, date, amount, and description clearly visible. We will provide you with a simple checklist at enrollment so you always know exactly what to send us.

Pricing FAQs

  • No. Brightseed is a non-campus private umbrella school and does not require immunization records or physical forms for enrollment. Some outside programs such as sports leagues, co-ops, or dual enrollment programs may have their own requirements, please check directly with those programs as their policies are independent of Brightseed's.

Our PEP Concierge service is specifically designed to help families plan their spending, maintain audit-ready records, and navigate the scholarship process with confidence.

  • The family cap is the maximum total umbrella enrollment fee your family will pay in a single school year, regardless of how many children you enroll. For Core, the cap is $299, meaning if you enroll three children at $129 each, you pay $299 total, not $387. Each tier has its own cap as listed. The family cap applies to umbrella enrollment fees only and does not include PEP Concierge, Virtual Clubs, or add-on services.

  • Yes. You can upgrade to a higher tier at any time during your enrollment year. We will prorate the difference, you pay only the remaining balance toward the higher tier, not the full price again. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date, not mid-year.

  • Brightseed enrollment runs on the Florida academic year, August 1 through July 31. Families enrolling mid-year are prorated to July 31 so you always pay only for the months remaining in the current school year. Renewals open each June for the following school year. Families who enroll after May 1 will be enrolled for the upcoming school year beginning August 1.

  • Umbrella enrollment fees are non-refundable once your official enrollment letter has been issued, as the letter constitutes delivery of the primary service. If you have not yet received your letter and need to cancel, contact us within 24 hours of enrollment. PEP Concierge fees are non-refundable after services or sessions have been delivered. Please review our full Refunds and Turnarounds policy for complete details.

  • Yes. Florida's compulsory school age begins at 6. Pre-K enrollment with Brightseed is optional and provides records and letters but does not satisfy any legal requirement since none exists for that age. FES-EO eligibility for Pre-K students is determined by your SFO, contact them directly.

  • After completing your enrollment form, you will receive an invoice by email. We accept credit cards and bank transfers. For Neurodiversity+ monthly billing, your card on file is charged automatically each month on your enrollment anniversary date. Premier families receive full transcript support each semester. Full done-for-you transcript builds are available as a paid add-on for any tier with a 5 business day turnaround.

  • Enrollment/withdrawal letters, annual attendance summaries, and (as applicable) progress or transcript documents. We share records only with legal guardians or with written consent.
